At Literary Escape Festival, our love of books goes hand in hand with a love for the places that welcome us. Every city on our festival journey is unique, with its own history, people and stories, and we believe in giving something back in return.That is why, whichever city we host the festival in, we choose a local charity or community project to support. It is our way of ensuring that the festival’s impact lasts long after the last book has been signed and the final chapter read.
Bath Mind is the local and independent mental health charity supporting people across Bath and North East Somerset.
While affiliated with the national Mind network, Bath Mind operates as a completely separate charity, designing and delivering its own services and raising its own income to support the local community.
The organisation offers a wide range of mental health and wellbeing services, each tailored to individual needs. Their mission is to provide compassionate, practical support that empowers people to live well and thrive.
As one of around 100 local Mind charities across England and Wales, Bath Mind plays a vital role in promoting mental health awareness and providing accessible support within our community. We are proud to partner with such an impactful organisation as the official charity partner of the Literary Escape Festival – Bath.
